Question: How do I apply for a building permit?
Answer: In order to recieve a building permit you will neeed the following:
- A completed and signed application form
- Two copies of a site plan
- Two copies of a floor plan
- Notarized energy affidavit
- A complete and signed Erosion Control Affidavit
- A valid local or Georgia State Business License.
If someone other than the state card holder picks up the permit, an affidavit must accompany the application giving permission for the person picking up the permit to use that person's state card.
