Ward 2 (NE) - Current term expires
Dec. 31, 2009
Rusty Gray was elected to the City
Council in 2001 and began his term in office January 2002. Rusty is
a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified
Counselor, employed by the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Parole
as a Program Manager for Substance Abuse Services. He has been with
the Parole Board since 1996. Gray also has a private practice in
Carrollton at 309 Tanner Street. He is a graduate of the State
University of West Georgia with a BA and Masters Degree in Psychology. He was appointed
to the Board of Health in 1999 and later appointed to Pathways
Community Service Board in April of 2001 by the Board of
Commissioners. He is also a Certified Instructor with the Georgia
Peace Officers Standard Training and regularly teaches at the Georgia
Public Safety Training Center. Rusty has a daughter, Ella. Rusty is a
member of Grace Covenant Church, where is in charge of the ushers.
Councilmember Gray was re-elected to the Ward 2 (NE) Councilmember
post at the election held in November 2005. His new term began
January 1, 2006 and will expire December 31, 2009.
